Other Weather Sites On The Net
Back in the old days of the 'Net, it was important for
a person to have various pages of "links" to the best sites.
Why? In those days, there were none of these so called "Search Engines"
for the WWW. If you had somehow found a good site, you put it up on a page-o-links
page. Nowadays, all you have to do is go to a good search engine (UltraSeek
and MetaCrawler seem to work
the best) and type in what you want. So I won't bore
you with a long list here. What I do have is a list of weather-related
sites participating in some of the new technologies in WWW (Java, Shockwave,
Animated GIFs, VRML, Interactivity, etc)., i.e. some New-Technology sites
that normally might be lost in the haystack of search results. Also, you'll
find here a list of NEW sites that might not have made it into the search
engines yet, as well as sites that have recently added new content that
you might have in your bookmarks but never go back to visit.
