This morning at CASI HQ, looks like we might have had an inch additional
at most overnight - total 6" if that is the case. Sunny today. No
mention of the weather or the roads this morning on the radio, so must
be all good...

Wet snow falling from 3 pm to now (9:26 pm) along Jersey Shore. About
1/2
inch total accumulation.

Hey Jesse,
About 4" on the ground right now at 9:25pm and coming down
heavily, it
slowed to some light snow for a few hours. Tree's are hitting the roads

now, but the power is still on. Just as I was about to hit the send
button our cable just went out. I am on spring break for another week
so
after I get back from Emergency Snow Removal Crew (5am - 12pm?) I will
give you an update of total's, any damage, etc.

Port Jefferson Station (North Shore LI) NY 1:45AM:
32 degrees w/heavy snow; 4.5" since changeover to snow around 7:00 PM -
1" in last 45 minutes; barometer 29.83 and falling; just heard at least
two large branches snap from the combination of wet snow and increasing
wind; wind seems to be swinging to NE ; residential streets snow
covered.
Radar indicates an intense (yellow/red) area of precip. moving NE and
about to make landfall on the S. Shore of LI. Trying to stay awake to
see what it is. NWS & TWC are still calling for change to rain. Whatever

happens, the past two hours have seen our heaviest snow in 3 years. If
it doesn't change over more than just branches'll be coming down.
