line. It has been a while since I have posted to this group. We
left South Carolina in mid January, and moved to Chugwater, Wyoming,
which is located in SE Wyoming, about 45 miles North of Cheyenne, and
about 150 miles North of Denver. We love Wyoming, and her people,
and look forward to posting some of the "wild" weather events that
happen in this beautiful state.
5:15PM MDT, we were buffeted by a strong wind storm. I recorded a
peak gust of 60mph, and had sustained winds of 40-50mph for about an
hour. Blowing dust was a problem for a short period of time. With
the powerful Pacific storm moving into Colorado later today and
tonight, we expect more strong winds, along with possible
thunderstorms later today, and a changeover to snow late tonight, and
continuing tomorrow. Hopefully we will get enough snow to warrant a
