I recorded my lowest temperature here in Hamilton, NJ, since I started
keeping records in June, 2000. Before midnight we dipped to -0.5F, but
then rose slightly to +2.1F. At 5:11AM we dipped to -3.6F. Wind chill
values at that time were in the -16F to -20F range using the new
formula. The official low is recorded at Trenton-Mercer Airport, and that
+1.9F. Being out in the "burbs" a bit allowed for a bit more radiational
cooling here at my home.
My dog refused to go outside this morning. A first for him. I can't say I
blame him a bit :-)
