[STORMREPORTS] Very Cold on East LI

Winter has just stormed in here in south eastern New
York. Currently its 48º with west winds at 15mph.
gusting to 28mph. and a windchill of 34º. The front
came through with very little fan fare in terms of
precip (0.01"), but it sure brought in the winds.
Winds have been gusting 25mph. to 30mph. since 3pm
here. At the moment the front passed, the wind went
from 0mph. to 30mph. gusts in ten minutes. Behind the
front there was no sortage of towering cumulus clouds,
as was the case with the previous front, but no rain.
Not looking for temps to drop much tonight with winds
howling like this, however the windchill should stay
around 30º to 35º overnight. Here's to some snow
before the month is out.
