The WeatherMatrix StormMatrix has shown more storms today than I've ever
seen before, with 1600 detected nationwide by NEXRAD at 4:12pm!

However, not many of the storms are severe yet, with only 2 Mesocyclones
detected, and the NWS has currently in effect only 8 severe thunderstorm
warnings and 2 watches in effect.
