"It's that time of year many local residents know all too well. Ice jams
piled up at the mouth of Cattauraugus Creek Tuesday, flooding many streets
in the Sunset Bay area.

Crews issued a voluntary evacuation, letting residents decide whether or
not to head for drier land.

In South Buffalo, Public Works officials shut down the Stevenson Street
bridge as massive ice jams rose the level of Cazenovia Creek. Flood waters
also rushed into Caz Park..."
