As of 7:15 AM eastern time, Hamilton, NJ, on the border with Trenton, NJ,
has 8.25" of snow on the ground. At midnight, snow was falling at a rate
of 1.75" per hour with a forecast of 3-5" total. Awoke to a Winter Storm
Warning with heavy snow continuing. Schools, businesses and state offices
announcing closed today. I just blew off my driveway to have the plow come
by and leave me a present. I think he waits around the corner for me since
this is the first spot he decided to plow :-)
Totals now expected to hit near 12". This will be our biggest snow of the
season, which previously was 10" in this area.
