Winchester VA
The Winter Storm Warning which first issued Thur Am for greater
Washington/Baltimore was spread out a bit Thur Eve. The Warning was
expanded into the Shenandoah Valley in VA w/ the exception of the
northernmost 2 counties (Frederick->mine & Clarke).
Although most forecasts called for about 3-5" here, we have 4" on the
ground at 2:45am & several more hours of snow to go.
Snowfall Rates since midnight have been between 3/4 to 1" per hour, and
that won't lighten till mid AM. Having said that, i think we get at
least 8", perhaps 10", when it winds down later today.
