DFW Airport extended the current record streak of
days without measurable precipitation to 60 days.
The temperature at DFW reached 103 degrees today,
the 37th day this year of 100 degree plus
temperatures. This is the 8th most 100 degree days
in a year.
The temperature at my station in Temple, Texas,
about 120 miles S of Dallas, reached 100 degrees,
the 13th 100 degree day of the month and the 25th
100 degree day of the year.
