DFW Airport extended their rainless day record to
62 days. This was also the 26th day this month
that the temperature reached 100 degrees, tying
the record originally set in 1952 and tied in
1999.
I have had 22 days without rain and only 0.30" in
the last 62 days at my station here in Temple,
Texas, about 120 miles south of Dallas. The high
temperature at my station today was 103 degrees,
the 14th day this month and the 26th day this year
with a high of 100 degrees or better.
