Advanced SKYWARN Storm Spotter Class
TAG Skywarn in an association with the National Weather Service in
Morristown, TN, is offering the very first Advanced Skywarn Storm Spotter
Class on Saturday, April 10, 1999, from 10 am - 4 pm with a lunch break.
The class will be held at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. The course will
be taught by Howard Waldron, NWS Morristown Warning Coordination
Meteorologist. The advanced Skywarn class is open to those who have been
certified by the NWS for having completed the Intermediate and Basic Storm
Spotter course. People wanting to upgrade from the intermediate and basic
to the advanced status will be the priority. Those persons having already
taken the advanced course will be permitted on a secondary basis due to
limited seating. For more information and to sign-up for the course,
please contact "Boots", N4MKG, during the weekly TAG Skywarn Training Net
held every Tuesday night at 8 pm ET on the W4AM 146.610- repeater Lookout
