I wanted to write to let you all know that my status in CASI will be
changing. As many of you have noticed, I am not online as much
anymore. I wanted to give an explanation and disclaimer for that. The
truth is that, although for the last several years I have had nothing to
do but monitor the weather online and adminstrate CASI functions, much
of my online time this year has been severely reduced.
I am happy to report however, that this is not due to any trouble in my
life, in fact it is quite the opposite. I have met a wonderful woman
who is very special to me and who has done what I assumed no one could
do - take me off the computer. I have found in her things that I did
not even know I was lacking.
So I wanted to let you know that, until further notice, I will be taking
a step back in my online efforts this year, and for those of you who are
used to seeing me online a lot, I will be online much less.
Fortunately, much of CASI's admininstration is automated, and more is
becoming so, so CASI as a whole will not suffer because of this, it is
my hope. I will continue to think of new ways that I can involve you
the Members in some of the tasks that are on my list to perform for CASI
in 1999 and please continue to send me your suggestions for new ideas
regarding CASI.
New Member Applications will continued to be processed once every 2
weeks as they are now. It may take me a little longer to process Member
Page Changes and to respond to your emails than it did last year. And I
may not be online for all the extreme weather events, so I expect you
guys to keep me updated! Thank you for your understanding.
