New product on the market that can decode EAS alerts off of normal
AM/FM radio...including weather alerts if the radio station broadcasts
them live. Here's the info...

Subject: Emergency Alert Sentinel
A new radio unit is available called the Emergency Alert Sentinel.
This unit can be set to the AM/FM station in your area that broadcast
EAS emergency information. Normally all you hear is the regular radio
broadcast - but once SAME EAS emergency information is transmitted -
normal programming is interrupted and the emergency broadcast is
received and alerted. The BIG news (I think) is the fact that the
unit is capable to be in a "ready" position at all times. This makes
it somewhat like a weather radio in that it will automatically turn on
and broadcast emergency information - even in the middle of the night.
If anyone is interested - you can call 1-800-360-5440 or place an
order at,
