Okay gang -- I'll do this by mileage and traffic light count. Reset your
trip odometer at the I-40 exit; I'll count miles from there. (It isn't
far.)

Take I-40 to Chapel Hill and exit on highway 15-501 (that's exit number
#270). If you're coming from points west, you'll want to exit right; if
you're coming from the direction of Raleigh, you'll want to hang a left at
the exit traffic light and go over the overpass.

Shortly after the fourth traffic light (not counting the ones by the I-40
bridge) -- and exactly 1.4 miles from the interstate -- the road splits,
and you need take the fork heading right, onto Franklin Street (there's a
small green sign overhead with an arrow indicating Franklin bear right).

Once you're on Franklin, you'll go through three traffic lights, then
you'll pass El Rodeo restaurant on your left, and then Star of India
restaurant on your right, and next you'll be going up a hill. The road will
curve gently to the left and then right, and then again gently to the left
and more sharply to the right. Very soon after that right-hand curve, start
looking out for Davie Circle on the left (it can kind of sneak up on you)
-- it's exactly 3.3 miles from the interstate. Pull on in.

A few houses down, you have to hang a right and go all the way around the
circle (one-way street). When you're almost all the way around, I'm on the
right in a small brick house, #64. There will be a white Ford Taurus
station wagon under the carport. Its license tag is SUPERCEL. :)

Park in the driveway, front yard, or at curbside. If you get lost, call.
I'll either give better directions or dispatch a search-and-rescue mission.

I'm looking very forward to meeting everyone Saturday! There probably
haven't been too many get-togethers quite like this one in North Carolina
-- storm freaks, I mean. I'll have the grill and some hamburger ready in
case we want a snack. As Jesse said, we've set the rendezvous for 3:00, but
early arrivals won't be turned away.

Drive safely -- and C U Saturday!
