Showers and thunderstorms brought some heavy downpours to
portions of the Ukraine Saturday. The heaviest of the rainfall fell
across central portions of the country. In Kirovograd, 1.06 inches of
rain fell. Lubny had 1.22 inches of rain fall from a thunderstorm
while a thunderstorm brought 1.26 inches to Svitlovods'k. Most of the
rain fell in a 6 hour time period.
