[STORMREPORTS] Heat Continues In Pennsylvania

We have a chance again to hit a 1000-day (nearly 3-year) record high
temperature today in State College PA. (If the temperature of 91 at KUNV
goes into the records for Penn State). The last time it was in the 90's
here was August 14, 2002.

The last time it was in the 90's in JUNE was on this date in 1999.

This will NOT break the record for today but it is 16 degrees above normal
for us.

Here at WeatherMatrix HQ we hit 93 degrees, the last time it was above that
was September 10, 2002. Our Heat Index went to 100, which has only happen
a dozen or so times since records have been kept by us (1997).
