   825 PM CDT SAT APR 9 2005

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
   SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

          WESTERN AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA

   EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING FROM 825 PM UNTIL
   300 AM CDT.

   HAIL TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
   MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

On radar out of North Platte NE. shows one strong to severe thunderstorm
Cell This cell CO contains hail upto 2.00 in size cloud tops 65 dbz Echo
Tops 31.8 moving at 25 mph to the north just to the north I-80 counties
involved at this time are Custer, Blaine, Loup. This cell will be in the
town of Ainsworth in about 30 to 45 mins
