[STORMREPORTS] Strong Winds. Smithsburg, MD. 2 NE
Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings from the wind tunnel of the mid Atlantic. Well, my homestead is truly living up to it's nickname this month. At 11:16 PM Tuesday the wind gusted out of the NNW at 62 mph. It was just an added insult on top of a quite brisk day where the average wind was a toupe blowing 43.4 mph. The last three days together were not much better with a average wind of 31.7 mph. So far in March the wind has gusted to 40+ mph seven of the first nine days with a average wind so far at a gentle spring zepher-like speed of 22.0 mph. I am going outside now to nail my dog to the side of his dog house so he won't blow away. Until later.........
