[STORMREPORTS] Tropical Storm Forming?
It looks we have a low level circulation in the convection east of Panama and north of Venezuela and it could be a fledgling T.S. Otto forming.
Looking at upper level winds there is considerable shearing from the west so chances of true tropical storm formation are small but a named subtropical storm is very possible.
So as to not make hurricane weary Floridians nervous, a track well east of Florida would be probable!
