morning wasn't enough, the influence of the hurricane caused thunderstorms
to move southward over the beach Tuesday afternoon. After watching in vain
for waterspouts for several hours, we decided to go to a movie. On the way,
I spied a wall cloud but couldn't see it behind other houses, so I turned
down one of the beach cross roads. At this point, less than 1/2 mile away,
a funnel cloud was forming and began rotating. It turned a few times then
went back up into the cloud. Betting that when the wall cloud moved over
water, a waterspout would form, we followed the storm to the beach front
and I continued to take pictures of the wall cloud. Despite all odds, the
funnel cloud did not reform. However when we turned to leave for the movie
theatre (we were late) a beautiful rainbow stretched across the sky. When
we arrived at the theatre, the rainbow had increased in size and strength
and just before we went in, a second rainbow appeared next to the
