Here in NW South Carolina, we just ended another dry month, with only
2.61" of rain recorded at this station, and .51" of that fell the
last two days of the month. The months of March, April and May have
yielded a total of only 4.67" of rain. The total for the year,
through the end of May, is 11.15". I don't know what the average
rainfall for the first five months should be for this area. If
anyone can help me with those totals, I would appreciate it. Again,
I am located in Oconee County, which is in NW South Carolina.

Thanks,
Jack
