"A chunk of house in Kansas was sucked into the midst of a powerful tornado
Wednesday.

One cameraman watched in awe as a large portion of the house literally flew
away, WESH NewsChannel 2 reported.

At least eight tornadoes were spotted in the Harper County area, according
to the Wichita Eagle.

One was an F-4, measuring 500 yards across with wind speeds up to 260 mph.

The twisters leveled several buildings, tore roofs off homes and left many
without power. Harper County authorities said they're working to come up
with a monetary estimate of the damage."
