Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings from the wind tunnel of the mid Atlantic.
Cold enough to freeze an egg on the sidewalk, cold enough to freeze your dog's
brain.....................okay, I borrowed that line from a lame TV commercial
I saw when I was young about the heat and leaving your dog in your car but it
seemed to fit today. Quite nippy. When I left for the weather station this
morning the temperature at my homestead in the hills was -1 degree with a bone
chilling wind chill of -34 degrees. The temperature could still drop a degree
or two before sun rise and threaten the record low temperature for this date at
my home station of -3 degrees set in 1982. I am too old be out in this cold.
Would my weather records still count if I pack up my things and move to
Florida? Until later.................
