The National Weather Service in D.C. accidentally issued a weather message
for Washington D.C. today, indicating that there was a blizzard coming. It
is in fact, not. The product & apology can be viewed at:

Disregard Blizzard Notice

UPDATED: 3:37 PM EST January 7, 2004

Some of our subscribers and Weatherbug users received a notice today
indicating portions of our viewing area are under a blizzard warning. That
information is not accurate, and the alert should be disregarded.

Our area is not under a blizzard warning.

The National Weather Service's automated system issued an erroneous report.
Our meteorologists brought the issue to the attention of the NWS, and the
service is working to correct the situation.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
