UPI STORY:
"REDDING, Calif., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- A blizzard that forced closure of a
major highway in Northern California and Oregon was expected to continue
howling into Monday night.
California transportation officials said Interstate 5 north of Redding
remained closed due to heavy blowing snow from a major Pacific storm
hitting the entire West Coast. I-5 is a main north-south route, and the
closure has left scores of truckers and motorists stranded until the
blizzard passes and the highway can be plowed."
