[STORMREPORTS] NJ Snow total

As of 1800 EST the snow has stopped here in Central-West NJ. I have a
total of 18.0" on the ground. Quite a storm for us this time of
year. With the winds out of the NW with gusts to 34MPH, we were close to
blizzard conditions for many hours this morning. I have drifts up to 34"
on my property.

This was the first snow storm for my son to enjoy (he was too young to know
what it was last Winter). He loved it!! I had a good time teaching him
why it snowed, but that was mostly for my enjoyment as he is a bit too
young to understand.

In just two winters I have recouped the costs of my snow blower :-) Very
unusual in these parts. Luckily the hardware store was open when I broke a
shear pin on a piece of sidewalk concrete.
