Re: [STORMREPORTS] Cat 4 Isabel

The media here in NJ is recommending the entire coast brace itself IMMEDIATELY for Isabel. Following a bad drought period, this summer has been extremely wet, and the trees are extremely weak right now. We usually lose a few big ones during a small thunderstorm event. I am not looking forward to this. I am well inland but I fear that winds could be hurricane strength even here.

The current forecast here calls for landfall between the Chesapeake Bay area and the Delaware Bay area, with a track just west of NJ heading north through central PA.

They are already calling it a 100-year event for this area. I really hate the media sometimes.

Anyway, wish us all luck. And I'm sure the forecast will change tomorrow :-)

Eric
