Cat 4 Isabel continues in a weakening stage and has resumed her WNW heading. I can now comfortably declare that the threat to the state of Florida is past. She should begin her turn to the NW within 24 hours. Hopefully the weakening trend will continue until landfall but somehow I doubt it. Landfall may be as far north as Delaware or New Jersey with a track across western New York into Ontario possible.
Take Care,
Thomas Giella
