Here in New Paltz, NY (Hudson Valley) I recorded 4.7" of rain on Sunday, the
most in 14 years for a daily total. During Hurricane Floyd in Sept., 1999 we
had 4.5". Most of the rain came in the evening hours during a round of
thunderstorms with some hits within 1/4 mile.
