"Genesee County (06/09/03)
Numerous areas sustained wind damage in Mid-Michigan. One of the hardest
hit was Grand Blanc Township, along McWain Road.

ABC12 reporter Randy Conat surveyed the scene immediately after the storms
rolled through.

A pleasant Sunday afternoon ended suddenly when the storm hit McWain Road.
A garage and back deck were heavily damaged when high winds knocked over
trees. "I started closing doors and windows and heard a loud crack," said
resident Rod Wallace. "
