Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings from the water logged high desert of the
Mid Atlantic. Last night and into this morning my homestead in the hills
received 0.81 inches of rain. It brings the monthly rain total to 8.36
inches which
is a new record high for the month of May surpassing 8.17 inches set in 1989.
It is now at #6 all time for rainfall in any month just behind the #5 spot
which is 8.47 inches set in March 1993. It is way behind the all time record
high for any month which is 12.92 inches set in June 1996. More than 4.5
inches
behind the all time record.............as of 3:30 this afternoon my homestead
was receiving another rain shower. I should see the all time record fall
sometime around 7 PM tonight. {:0>} Until later..........
Jim
