Re: [STORMREPORTS] Baseball size hail in Northwest AL Friday afternoon

Hello Storm Friends,

Yesterday was quite a day for extreme Lauderdale County of Northwest AL.
Normally it seems that we have a perpetual blocking high sitting over our
land, but yesterday it was quite different. Around 2:30pm a severe storm
passed over and dropped baseball sized hail in our corner of the state. We
arrived home 2 hours later to find hail in our yard still measuring up to 2"
across! We sustained damage to the roof of our 24' travel trailer and our
farm truck. Praise God we were not home with our more expensive vehicles!
Vehicle damage was widespread. No windows were knocked out of our home, for
that we are immensely thankful! We understand that there were windows
knocked out in Franklin County, AL.

Thought you all would be interested in our exciting afternoon!

Blessings in Christ,
Mary Woodis
