"A large portion of the Pullabooka area was hit by a flash flood on Sunday
evening.
Extensive damage was suffered by landholders by the unexpected inundation
that took the area by surprise.
There has not been a flood of this magnitude in the area for many years and
residents were caught totally unprepared for such an event after a storm
hit the shire during the early hours of Sunday evening."
