Shoveled snow today here at my home in State College PA, for about the 10th
day in a row. Snow cover ranges from 1-2 feet with drifts above 3 feet.
This time, had to get to the trashcans... have had full trash bags on the
porch for nearly a week. Also had to get more rock salt which was in the shed.
Snow is crusty on top now, in fact I had to chop cubes with the shovel
first then lean them up next to the path.

After 30 minutes I got to the trashcans. It was twice as far to the shed
so I tried to walk through it.
Got the shed door open

The crust held a lot of weight, in fact kids were sliding around on top of
it for fun. I skidded the 40lb bag of salt across the yard on top of it,
to avoid having to carry it while punching through the snow crust up to my
knees
Got a pic of the swingset buried:

And also the mailboxes are almost under (all the way to the right on the pic)
