Due to winds reaching 17-20 mi. per hr. most roads have drifited and are hazardous for travel. County road crew can not keep the roads clear due to winds and blowing snow.
Some State Highways are down to one land and blowing snow is causing a near white out for drivers. Using extreme caution or not traveling in the Central Illinois are is recomended until morning.
