Heavy rains Friday,Saturday and today are causing problems in most of middle
East Tennessee. Many highways and city streets are "running rivers"
according to media reports. At least two twenty-unit apartment building
were demolished by mudslides.

At my station, I have recorded 5.75 inches since midnight Friday, with 2.17"
since midnight last night and it's still raining.

More later. Anson 021603 1134 AM
