I have posted a few pics of the 8 1/2 inch snowfall that occurred on
Thursday at www.chasersofthegraveyard.com. Winds at the time were gusting
well above 20mph. The temp was 20F. They say the last time the Outer Banks
received any significant snowfall like this was back in 1989.

This winter storm is going to end up costing a pretty penny just in plumbing
expenses. When you put a house up on stilts to help save it from a
flood/hurricane, you had better insulate the pipes underneath. Plumbers are
making a fortune, ourselves we had 4 pipes break.
