A white Christmas is expected for much of the Northeast with a wide swath
of snow predicted -- amounts by some agencies are reaching to 1 or even 2
feet in parts of Pennsylvania and New York, and some computer forecast
models are predicting over 2 feet.
The HPC has issued a MODERATE RISK of Heavy Snow for northern OH, PA, and
southern NY for Day 1: http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/qpf/94swbg.gif
And a HIGH RISK of Heavy Snow for NE PA & parts of New England for
Christmas Day: http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/qpf/98swbg.gif
You can see predicted snowfall maps from the various companies and forecast
models on our Winter Forecasts page:

If you aren't here in Central Pennsylvania, watch the white Christmas with
our WeatherCams. WeatherMatirx HQ runs 6 weathercams which we will be
repositioning today to show the snow tomorrow.

You will also be able to see the snow on other people's weathercams, which
we have a database of:
