I live approx 10 miles south of the city of Syracuse and for the past 24
hours we have been under a lake effect advisory. The weather forecast
as of noon is reporting some places around the tug hill may receive over
a foot of snow and where I am located 3 to 7 inches in the next 24
hours. This is the first major snow fall for the area all thanks to lake
Ontario. I will try to get some pictures up when the snow does hit.
        As a side note we average 120 inches of snow a year and have
gone over 200 inches in the past.
