From AccuWeather.com: "With strong high pressure anchored over New England
Sunday and a trough of low pressure across the Middle Atlantic region will
cause a relatively strong onshore flow from the coast of Virginia on
northward. Winds are anticipated to average 15-30 mph along the immediate
coast with rough surf and dangerous rip currents. Waves will be 4-7 feet,
however, swells can be as high as 12 feet, mainly offshore. While
widespread coastal flooding is not anticipated, some minor flooding is
possible especially during times of high tide. This onshore flow will also
produce areas of rain, some of which will be locally heavy."
