Both NWS Apparent Temperatures and AccuWeather RealFeel Temperatures were
over 100 over much of the East Coast today, with RealFeels as high as 121
and Apparent Temperatures as high as 112 in Virginia, both recorded at 11am!
MANY stations from the Carolinas to the Megalopolis reported dewpoints in
the 70s. Two stations in the Northeast reported dewpoints in the low
80s. Of course automated dewpoint observations are notoriously unreliable.

Lebanon PA (LBE): 82 (1pm)
Ogdensburg NY (OGS): 81 (11am)
Many stations reported temperatures near the century mark, with a report of
100 from
Petersburg, VA.

Before yesterday, the temperature had only exceeded 95 degrees twice before
at this station (1997-present). Today is the second day it has done so.
