Central MD has water use restrictions. However, the Potomac River Basin is
running so high that NWS has classified it in the Caution Zone. Was 7' at
Little Falls guage at one point last week. Over 5' calls for caution, over
10' is flood. Summer low flow usually hangs around 3'. A good opinion

He rightly points out that some areas, such as central NJ, are still badly
in need of rain.
