At my weather station in Broomfield, CO (NW of Denver), at 2:41pm Mountain
time, I reported a wind gust of 62mph into the Denver NWS. I then recorded
another gust of 68mph. Sustained winds of 45- 55 mph continued for about 20
minutes. A wall of dust (dry out here) and some rain. These storms in Denver
mainly had strong wind and gusts, with little rain, as the dewpoints at the
surface have been in the 40's today and most of the week.
