High Today: 92.3 °F {at} 04:04 pm
High Heat Index Today: 99.0 °F {at} 04:03 pm
This is the hottest temperature here since at least summer 1999.
Since the ground is completely tapped out of moisture, most of the suns
energy goes directly into it.
We are also in a serious drought, at least for the lawns here which are
now all brown.
Rain in the last two weeks was only 0.08"; NONE in the last 7 days.
Total for the MONTH of July is just over 1 inch; normal precip is over
3.5".
