From: artiestevens{at}aol.com
Date: Fri May 11 2001 - 00:27:42 EDT

Tropical storm 03w (cimaron), located approximately 70 nm west of lingayen,
has tracked northward at 6 knots over the past six hours. The warning
position is based on 102330z9 infrared satellite imagery and available
synoptic data. The warning intensity is based on satellite current intensity
estimates of 45 knots.

Note: The Philippines weather service is still calling the storm Crising.
However since the storm is moving out of the jurisdiction of the Philippines
I will use the JTWC name (Cimaron) on my website and in my storm reports
until the storm becomes extra tropical.
