Northeast
The latest winter storm dumped over two feet of snow in parts of central and
eastern New York and portions of New England. Areas north and west of Albany,
N.Y., are blanketed with over thrity inches of snow. Thirty inches of snow
also buried parts of southern New Hampshire. Nearly two feet of snow covers
Burlington, Vt., and the suburbs of Boston. The coast of Massachusetts was
battered by wind gusts from 50 to 70 mph. Coastal flooding was widespread as
the storm stallled southeast of Cape Cod. The storm is losing its grip so
look for winds to come down very gradually and snow showers will continue.
