It appears that the strongest of the winds is over. The winds came in with
some rain showers. All thats left now is an 8 mph average to 20 mph for
gusts. The high gust here has been 39 mph, Tiger had 39 mph and Blairsville
had 37 mph. I dont know if it was the high wind gust, but Gainesville
reported a 44 mph gust and Watkinsville reports a 48 mph peak gust. Some of
the above gusts were likely with strong thunderstorms, no storms were in my
area, but there were some near Gainesville.
There have been reports of wide spread wind damage to our south, from Hall
county and to the west and south.
