Issued 12/27/00 4:00 PM

The necessary ingredients for phasing and widespread severe weather has
diminished over the state. However during the next 24-36 hours Florida will
experience a one two punch from heavy thunderstorms, first with the warm
front then with the cold front. Much needed rainfall amounts to 3.00" is
possible. Subfreezing temperatures return to the central peninsula over the
weekend and into next week.

Take Care,
