Lows this morning were very cold, for the most part not as cold as the 6° I recorded on the 20th...but they were extreme. I recorded a low of 10° this morning here at my house near Tallulah Falls, and the official low at Toccoa was 16°. I dont have the official report from Cornelia, because they dont update it on the weekend for some reason but the unofficial low is 15°. Some other official low temperature reports from around the area are as follows...

Also, the temperature made it above freezing today at around 11:45 AM for the first time since 12:55 AM on Dec. 19th, 2000. This is approx 107 hours with sub-freezing temperatures. Some places in Habersham did get above freezing for a brief period yesterday, but most did not. Reports are that Stephens County got above freezing each of the last few days, so no long term consecutive streak there, but still very cold never the less.
